WP Online Store
Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the Christmas season!
I started this blog as a way to group ideas or recommendations as there is much information within WA to search.
I have a question and would appreciate your ideas, What do you recommend as themes, plugins, etc to begin an online store, I have read the posts that recommend the Xena Theme and I know there has to be a shopping cart, I have considered just going with Shopify since it is basically a no brainer however, I would like to stay within WA and use Word Press if possible and build here even though I know it will be challenging.
Any thoughts, suggestions, anything at all is greatly appreciated!

You may install the WooCommerce plugin with your WordPress and that comes integrated with payment gateways.
You may use PayPal or Stripe.
Stripe is more useful, and for cash flow purposes. There has been instances where PayPal froze funds.
However, as you say WA hosting is robust I would want to stay here and I could host up to ten websites (mix of siterubix subdomains and premiums however totalling 10)
Or
Use Shopify, which is pretty configured and you can add a blog to your site.
You want to make sure themes are responsive, extremely light, fast, well coded, SEO optimised, flexible, adaptable and customisable
You may try GeneratePress or Premium where you can extend the theme and can have many layout templates.

But it isn't really hard, there's always going to be a learning curve.
One thing forgot to add, shopify includes three tier payment plans however adding a WordPress ecommerce store is a plugin away and hosting of which is already included in your premium subscription.

I, my self have started and am working very lowly on a Woocommerce website using their recommended theme, Storefront! I might eventually change to to Generate Press, but I move very slowly! I do know that it is highly compatible with Wordpress sites! You owe it to yourself to at least take a look at Woocommerce as one of your potential sites!
