All In One SEO Pack Plugin Update to v3.4.2 Forced Their Sitemap
This post is meant for those of you who prefer to use Google XML Sitemap and have that already installed.
The recent update to the All In One SEO Pack plugin pushed their XML Sitemap to be installed on EVERY website using their plugin. Many of us have been complaining to the developer the last few days… and I found a resolve.
If you see the following nag screen after updating your All In One SEO Pack plugin, there is an easy fix.
And here it is: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/deactivate-all-in-one-seo-sitemap
Then go back to Settings > XML-Sitemap and check your link. If your sitemap is NOT working, don’t panic… simply go to Plugins > Google XML Sitemaps and then Deativate and then Activate the plugin again. Then check your sitemap link again and you will see it has been fixed.
DO make sure that your sitemap is working properly or you will resolve issues in Bing Webmaster and/or Google Analytics.
Hope you find this helpful.

I have not used a different sitemap, so I am ok at present, but I do want to thank you for taking the time to bring it to our attention. I did update all in one SEO 2 days ago.
Got to love WA.

Thanks a lot for the help!
May I ask... After deactivating the XML sitemaps in Feature Image. I went to XML-Sitemap and checked my link.
When I click the link it is taking to my site's home page. Is that mean it's working properly...
How do I know my sitemap is working properly... Please advice...
Yes Paul... the Google XML Sitemaps needs to be deactivated and reactivated in order to get your sitemap working properly. That is why I made sure to mention that in my post above.
Once you do that, check that link again and you will see that your sitemap will be restored once more.
Thanks a lot and GOD bless!
