They say you can't, but that's not strictly true, it just takes more time and a lot more patience, which is a bit like us as we get older. The main difference is, for us, it is essential, we need to keep our brains working in order to keep functioning. Doctors will often say to their older patience, use it or lose it, referring to their mobility, but I think having done a considerable amount of research on this topic, that keeping ones brain fully active is the most important thing.

I remember seeing a program on the television about a woman potter, who was talking about projects she had done, and projects she had planned for the future. Now before you start thinking what is so special about that, I will tell you, she was ninety six years old, and really sharp, but she did admit that she could no longer lift the heavy blocks of clay, but her sixty eight year old son helped her there. Now that has to be an inspiration not only to the elderly but to everyone.

Everyone must know at least one person, who has retired, had no real interest to take up their day, and just lounged around watching television all day long, and basically just faded away. Goals are important for success at any age, but as we get older it can be the difference, between remaining active and becoming a couch potato. In that respect I think that internet marketing is perfect, it will keep you mentally alert, and at the same time if you do it right, can put extra funds into your bank account, which allows you to have even more fun.

I think going by what I have seen so far, Wealthy Affiliate, is great for the youngsters, giving them a solid foundation for their futures, but for older people who might be on their own, and sometimes lonely, it can give them contact with other people, and that can change their whole quality of life.
