Progress Report: The More You Learn, The More You Know
This is what it's like to build something.
I've got to be honest. I was weary of the platform when I first signed up. It seemed like a lot of talk, a lot of wading through information to get to where you need to be. Key word is 'seemed.'
If you are just starting out, stick with it. Kyle said that early on. And it is true.
The more you interact with the platform, the lessons, WordPress, the more it 'clicks.' Just this week I visited the 'Cancel Membership' page twice, because I thought the platform was not functional or not responsive enough to what I wanted.
I got hit with a realization: it wasn't the platform (yes there are some improvements to be made); in fact it was ME. I had a poor attitude and made excuses as to why I wasn't going to get the site built, the content created.
Stay with it becasue the more you learn, the more you know. That is applicable to all things in life.

I like the car photography niche. I live in London and I used to try rent out supercars as an affiliate back in the day and I used to go to Knightsbridge, Mayfair etc. in the evening to photograph supercars, because they are everywhere. I don't think there is a supercar I have not seen around in that area at one point or another. Good luck with your niche and yes, as you say, it is all about putting that hard work into it.
I am re-building from scratch (maybe not totally as have some following here and there left from the ruins lol) but yes got hacked some 5 years ago and pretty much everything got destroyed and I did not have the motivation to start over again. I also bought a lot of third party plugins and did not realise that these people that sold it to me are going to stop supporting their plugins, so I used it all over my websites and then some years down the line the plugins started breaking all over the place. So the combination of the hacking and the broken plugins made me to give up.
5 Years later and I am back lol. I started again on the 2nd of January 2019 and accomplished a massive amount within a very short space of time. You can check out my website I built if you want from scratch starting on the 2nd of January 2019 and you will see how much was accomplished in a super short period of time. So I am super motivated to be successful this time around and not make the same mistakes I did in the past.
