8. Enjoying writing you first post! You have successfully finished setting up your website!

I hope you enjoyed this little micro-overview for setting up your website. Happy Building!

Oh, I said I would give you a handy tip to be a step ahead of the rest. It is a small thing but, fun and will help complete the look of your website!

Make sure to change your favicon! A favicon helps to simply identify your website and keeps it bookmarked, so to speak.

Change the favicon from the WA default to a simple one of your own, usually a letter or two.

Do this quick step: Go in your dashboard to Appearance>Customize>Site Identity> scroll a bit down to Site Icon>then Change Image. Save and publish!

Below are a few examples of favicons and where you will see them.

Have fun now, knowing you are ready to roll! Please leave a comment or suggestion how I can make this checklist the best! Liking and sharing is even better!Thank you!

Hi Paula, thanks for a great basic and simple but complete checklist for creating a new website. Finally I got where to add subdomain as I kept looking for it but overlooked it at the end of the Site Domain. Thank you & have a great day :)
