With the article framework in place, it's time to turn on the style

Writing Style: Third person is more authoritative.

Try to keep personal "I" comments to your linked website or blog

Content: Keep it unique, present it in a balanced way and avoid judgements or opinion.

If you copy chunks of content from someone else, the article sites will reject you for plagiarism

Capitals: Capitalise all words in the title & subtitles except the linking words of less than 4 characters

It's tough to remember but does give the article more authority

Bio: Add a photo and make the summary relevant to the article.

Most article sites allow aliases. Choose a profile & photo that resonate with the reader.

Photo: Adding a relevant photo which illustrates the title will increase the chances of retaining the reader.

Make sure the photo caption includes the keyword as Google will use that to optimise the article.

Spelling and all that stuff: Yeah, it's boring, checking spelling, punctuation, grammar and jargon.

But an article with errors smacks of being created by someone who doesn't care about quality.

I'm going to print these reminders up and use them as a checklist as I write my articles. I think you covered all the bases, and without being long-winded. That's a bonus for me!
