Take Note of Undelivered Emails and Bounces
There may be certain email addresses that wouldn’t get emails received and there may be bounces too. So, you must regularly take note of such reports that would be sent back to you whenever an email refuses to deliver to the recipient.
Comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
In May 2018, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) was created and this took effect from the same year.
In order to avoid the severe penalties that could come from the union, you must endeavor to find out more about the regulations from your email service provider.
Use a Double Email Subscription (Opt-in) Process
Though some bloggers may see the double subscription (Opt-in) process as a waste of time or a barrier to generating more email subscribers, it ensures that no email address on the list is wrongly filled by a subscriber.
Using the double process will ensure that only active subscribers are listed eventually and only those that will always receive the emails.
By asking subscribers to confirm subscription through the email inbox or spam folder, it will ensure that nobody leaves a wrongly-spelled email address. If peradventure someone mistakenly leaves a wrong email address, the subscription confirmation message will not be delivered and you won’t be able to click on any confirmation link.
So, if the subscriber does not receive the confirmation link, he will have to refill the email subscription form to ensure it is correctly entered the second time.
Thanks for this training!!! It's very helpful!!!
