Though I’ve published a training tutorial sometimes ago in which it was analyzed that using an email marketing strategy would be so helpful in building a subscriber list for your blog and drive traffic, you need to know in today’s training that this can jeopardize your blogging success if not implemented legally.

Making your list very clean, you must be sure of the legality, engagement, and accuracy of your subscriber database. If these three attributes are not ensured for your subscriber database, expect to get yourself:

  • Penalized for violating international and national laws
  • Struggling with low open rates and being punished for poor sender records
  • Blackmailed by email service providers
  • Fined for inactive email subscribers
  • Slapped by search engines

Here are the basic ideas for keeping a decent and healthy email list:

  • Build and protect your sender record
  • Take note of undelivered emails and bounces
  • Comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
  • Use a double email subscription (Opt-in) process
  • Build engagement with your subscribers
  • Find out if you’re using the right email service provider
  • Remove the superfluous part of your list
  • Never spam

Build and Protect Your Email Sender Record

The way your email sender record is scored is exactly like that of credit scoring. The email service providers make use of this data to assess your engagement rates. The engagement rates include the spam complaints, the clicks, and the opens.

The better your engagement, the better your email sender record/reputation, and the better your deliverability is!

Much welcome, CKone! Much appreciated! You need sending an email to ensure you reach as many audiences as you can in the online world and the only way to go about this successfully is building a list and engaging your subscribers. Israel Olatunji

Thanks for stopping by, alan! Kudos for taking some quality time to leave a valuable comment here! Much appreciated! As you've rightly read in this training tutorial, all the blogs that have been promoting the "Money making online" niches while sending out email newsletters with the MailChimp tool have been removed from the service. Thanks for stopping by, my friend! Much grateful! You can now see that MailChimp has disallowed blogs with so many niches such as "Make money online", "Credit Card repair", and many more from sending out an email as a result of the high bounce rates it has got from the search engines.

That glorifies this particular training tutorial more and more as it tells you how you won't get penalized by Google, other major search engines and email service providers.

You should try reading more about this through the link below; Thanks for the visit!

Hey Israel,
I never used MailChimp for MMO niches, only my niche for my cloth diaper site. My question is since it has an ad about WA on it would it be banned also from MailChimp.

Tried and True

PS I couldn't find the answer in the link.

Never! In as much as you've not been using the MailChimp platform to promote the "Money making online" stuff, you're not going to be affected at all.

If you only have the WA banner advertisement displayed anywhere on your "Cloth Diaper" niche blog, but you haven't specifically promoted WA through the email newsletters you've been sending out so far, you will never get removed from MailChimp. So, your mind should be at peace. Any further question? Don't hesitate to ask and I'll be more than happy to reply in earnest.
