(There are no themes that I know of in Wordpress that don't support Menus but if somehow you found one, get rid of it and get a newer one that does.)
If you're not already familiar with making Custom Menus then I suggest going over to this training before you go any further here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share_zone/view/1085
On the Menu page, roll all the way down to the bottom and you'll see this on the left hand side.
Simply check the ones you want to display on your Menu and press Add to Menu.
Now, you can also do this for tags or authors as well, you just need to grab the URL of the tag/author page you want and go back to the Menus page and make a Custom link menu item.
One last thing, I want to be able to have a menu that shows the sub-categories under the main category as well Wordpress does make it easy to do this so I just click all the categories I want and Add to Menu but it doesn't put the sub-categories under the main category in the menu. So we have you do that manually, but it's quick and easy to If you've forgotten how to do that, let's refresh your memory:
Click and hold on the ones you want to display under the main category and drag to the right.
Save your changes and take a look at your website!
There's a lot you can do in the wonderful world of Wordpress and some of us here are very knowledgeable on Wordpress, so don't hesitate to ask or request a training for something you want to learn how to do because chances are high that someone knows how to do it. Have a great day everyone :)
When I read the first page---your intro--I wanted to insert just one thought. Moving content around, between blog and website for instance, I do think we have to be super-careful not to create duplicate content by mistake or simply by being unaware. . You know how deeply Google despises duplicate content, and what happens to websites when people do that. Sometimes people don't even realize that a blog IS a website.
I'm really no expert, but I do think this awareness is important. Agree?
