I found a cool plugin that will allow you to display a bunch of interesting information such as:

• the total number of posts and/or pages

• the total number of drafts

• the total number of comments

• the total number of comments in moderation

• the total number of approved comments

• the total number of registered users

• the total number of categories

• the total number of tags

• the total number of words for any post

• the total number of words for all posts
