Now the HOW part ...

As you can guess, we are going to needa plugin. A handy plugin called Reading Time WP (460 KB) ...

Before anything else, let's see the usual speed tests ...

Here are my results before installing the plugin ...

... and the result after installing and activating the plugin:

Which means an additional 0.01 second ... So this awesome plugin is basically invisible ...

With that having said, let's see how it works ...

One thing that puzzles me...it seems that writing longer posts will cause more readers to quit before they finish reading. Thoughts?

I disagree my friend ... If your content is boring they will leave after reading the first three paragraphs ... If your content is interesting and helpful, they will read it regardless of its length ...
