Let's start with the WHY part ...

I agree ... Displaying a weather forecast on your Wordpress website is definitely not a "requirement" ...

However, there are many industries and website owners that rely on people making decisions based on this information!

Just a few examples: outdoor & camping, travel, hospitality & tourism industry, events, geo-specific activities, local audiences, etc.

So yes, there are many scenarios where website owners may want to display a weather forecast to keep their users informed about weather conditions for specific locations ...

Now the HOW part ...

Needless to say , there are countless plugins that can pull weather information and display it beautifully on your website.

BUT! In this case you need to be really "choosy" ... Some of these plugins could have a big impact on your site speed! The point: you need a well-coded, clutter-free plugin that is really fast, and more importantly, won't add any links to a bunch of weather services.

But don't worry, I've made some tests, and I found a cool plugin that will allow you to add a cool weather forecast feature to your website without ruining your speed results ...

So I've decided to create this short tutorial, to show you how easy is to add a nice weather forecast feature to your Wordpress posts, pages or widgets.

Let's see how is the wind ...

Thank you Zed. Ontario weather could be sunny, which is now, then cloudy with a chance of snow. All I know it (swearing) cold out there
