Go to WPForms => Add New to create a new form.
Define the title for your new form and select a ready-made template. This time I'll create a simple contact form:
You'll be taken to the form builder interface.
You will see your form preview in the right column, and on the left you will see all the fields that you can add to your form.
Now you need to click on the "GDPR Agreement" field to add it to your form.
And you'll see it appear at the bottom of your form:
Just click on it and you'll be able to change the title of the form field, the agreement text, etc. You can even use the description box to add a link to your privacy policy or terms and conditions page(s):
Finally, click the "SAVE" button (top right corner) to store your changes.
Notes: The GDPR Agreement field is always a required field, and it cannot be pre-checked to comply with the GDPR law. Also, you can only add one GDPR agreement field to each form.
OK. Now let's move forward to the last lesson where I'll show you how to add your new GDPR compliant Wordpress form to your posts and pages ...
