Upon activation, go to Users => Temporary Logins and click the "Create New" button to create a new temporary login account:

You'll be taken to a new form, where you can enter the presonal details, you can define the user role, and more importantly, you can select an expiry date:

And don't forget to click the "Submit" button :)
