The actual truth is;
1. It can’t be done only in your spare time.
Either you are starting a blog, creating an online course, or building your own online store, you might not think of it as a business. It’s a hobby, a project, a side hustle. No budgets or business plan, no offices or employees – it’s just you doing your stuff in your spare time.
Isn’t it?
In my few years of experience, people who earn a living online, see it as a business from the very first day. It doesn’t mean they have an office or hire some employees, instead, they approach it with the mindset of what someone who wants to start any other business would have.
For example, if you intend to start a dry-cleaning business. It’s right to first go learn the craft, figure out to do things in a different way, save some cash, and then launch your own dry-cleaning with a full understanding of how the market is and how to succeed. All I’m trying to say is that you take it seriously the way you take other business seriously. For some reasons I don’t really understand, people's perception of an online money process like blogging is that it’s easy and quick. That’s very wrong.
Though the capital investment might not be as high as other businesses, it's as difficult as many other offline businesses. It’s easier to get started, but mind you, your competition is global. Hence, you need to be smart, faster, and better than many of your competitors.
But as long as you understand that online business takes a lot of hard work & effort and that you have to put a lot of time into it before even seeing the first dollar - you can still work from home, out of your bed, in your pajamas. As long as you keep working on your online business.
I believe WA provides a perfect education and all it takes is dedication & self-discipline from there!
