2. Smartness is not enough
You might have heard various stories of someone who saw an opportunity that couldn’t see, did a few kinds of stuff and holla! A ground-breaking product was created, and that turned him or her to a very rich person. So, the summary is smartness + opportunity + hard work = amazing success. What a beautiful story. Honestly, it’s almost true, but some important details are missing and that’s your skill. If you want to be a freelance writer or graphic designer, you’d better be a freaking good content writer or graphic designer. If you want to start the next Twitter, you’d better be an amazing programmer. In other words, you need skills to capitalize on opportunities better than other smart and hardworking competitors.
3. Education is everything/nothing
There are myths about some tech billionaires been a dropout. People like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg. If you take some time to look a little deeper, you will realize that a large percentage of online entrepreneurs are believers in education, even though they believe the education system is flawed fundamentally.
The truth is that many of the skills needed to build an online business are learned faster most times through that same flawed education system. You would have the chance of a master in that field critique your work.
Skills like graphic design, computer programming, ad management, content creation/promotion, video editing and so on; has long-term value. Freelancers good in one or more of these skills, earn comfortably online.
Note: It’s not absolute freedom, because they have to put lots of effort into work; only that they can decide when to work and when not to, and that really matters.
But as long as you understand that online business takes a lot of hard work & effort and that you have to put a lot of time into it before even seeing the first dollar - you can still work from home, out of your bed, in your pajamas. As long as you keep working on your online business.
I believe WA provides a perfect education and all it takes is dedication & self-discipline from there!
