#3 No relevant results

People search on Google to find information, but what if there is no relevant information about the topic that they are searching?

Then you have found a topic to write about my next advice is:

Don't focus on the QSR, just find a question-topic that Google doesn't know and write about it.

So, if you are searching for something very specific on Google and you can't find it's answer on the first page of Google, then it's a topic which is worth to write about.

Google has a very complex algorithm, it will find your post and it will recognize that it is the most relevant one and will rank it on top.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

So, I searched on Google "new affiliate programs in 2018" and what does Google give me as top results after the sponsored results? The top affiliate programs.

But no, I'm not searching about the top ones, I am searching about the newest!

And if you scroll down to see the other results on the first page (just Google this keyword), you will see that none of them is talking about the newest (recently started) affiliate programs in 2018.

So, more chance of getting ranked for you for this keyword.

Then when to find the information about the unanswered question-topic?

Just search for it on a specialized topic forum, make a poll in a forum and present it's results.

Or just experiment with that topic in your own life until you find the answer to that problem.

What about the number of searches? Are there other people interested to know about the topic?

Maybe. For this use the keyword tool to find out how much traffic you would get if you would rank on top of Google for that keyword.

If you want to have a sure ranking use this tactic. Surely, it is possible to outrank some websites which are already ranked on the search engines, but you can't say this for sure even if you find a version of the keyword which has low competition but the readers would perfectly find the answer to their question if they would search for it on Google.

Even if Google wouldn't immediately rank you post on top, if readers couldn't find the answer to their question on page one, chances are higher that they would go on page two or three where your website is ranked. And eventually it would rank.
