About a half an hour after you get a referral your welcome message will be posted to this new referral’s profile page. If you have not set up any of your welcome messages and follow up messages, I highly suggest that you do so. If you do not and you should get a referral, you will miss your opportunity to guide them to begin the training. This is important because you don’t want them to quit before starting.
As you can see in the above image, Kyle’s first welcome message is posted on the referrals profile page. Then in about 2 days Kyle sent his follow up message. The first message should be to welcome your referral and guide them to start the Certification Course. The best way is to provide the link and to also talk about how WA can help them to turn their passions and interests into an online business.
The follow up messages should ask your referral how they are doing, do they need any help, and if they understand that this is a legitimate opportunity for those wanting their own internet business. You could also mention about how quick and easy it is to build a website and/or provide a link to a success story blog from the many posted here at WA.
You can even set up automatic Private Messages for after a referral becomes a Premium Member, but for now, three or four message to their profile to convince them to become active in the training should be sufficient. If they do not get going, do not get discouraged. You will get many more that will not start the training right away, or at all, than you will those who do.
Again, do not get discouraged because even if they do not get going right away, they could do so a week, a month or even a year later. No matter when they decide to start their training, you will get the referral credit because the referral cookie to your account is lifetime. I have had several referrals that have gone on to be premium months after joining.
