The dashboard is what you will see after logging into Wealthy Affiliate. From there, you can go anywhere at Wealthy Affiliate. I labeled the different sections below between 1 and 31 and I explain what each of them are and what they are for.

The Wealthy Affiliate Dashboard

  1. Dashboard - The activity dashboard is the image above. You can browse to every part of WA from the dashboard.
  2. Certification Course - The Certification Course is what you learned about in the previous lesson. Click the Green Button to view all 5 lessons and continue where you left off.
  3. Live Chat - If you want the Live Chat to be larger or open in a new window, you can click this button to make that happen.
  4. SiteRubix SiteManager - The blue SiteRubix button is where you mange your websites, domains, receive support, get comments and feedback on your sites, and WA recently added the SiteContent platform, which is another place you can create content and publish it to your website.
  5. Affiliate Bootcamp - You also learned about the Affiliate Bootcamp in the previous lesson. Click the Green Button to view all 7 phases and continue where you left off.
  6. Upgrade to Yearly Premium - If you want to save money on your Premium membership, you can upgrade to Yearly Premium for only $359.
  7. History - This is where you can see what you previously visited.
  8. Classrooms - The classrooms section is where you can learn from the 13 different classrooms learned in the previous lesson.
  9. Live Video Classes - If you want to access any of the previous recorded live training classes, click there to have access to all of them.
  10. Websites and Hosting - When you click this, you are sent to your SiteManager page to access all of your websites.
  11. Keyword Tool - When you start the training courses, you will eventually learn about Keywords. Wealthy Affiliate offers a keyword tool that works as good as the rest of them. Free members have 30 searches and Premium members have unlimited searches.
  12. Rapid Writer - This is another place you can go to write content for your website. SiteContent seems like a better replacement to the Rapid Writer.
  13. Link Tracking - Link tracking is a tool that you can use to track links. You will learn about Plugins that are capable of the same thing, and more.
  14. Keyword Lists - Kyle created 10 different keyword lists with 100 keywords in each list. That's 1,000 keywords you can use for a niche or an article.
  15. Affiliate Program Details - If you want to know more about the WA affiliate program, click this button to get all the details.
  16. Classroom for Affiliate Program - You can ask questions, watch videos, take courses and learn from tutorials specifically dealing with the WA affiliate program.
  17. Jaaxy - Kyle and Carson created a powerful and easy to use keyword tool called Jaaxy. It goes a little more in depth than the keyword tool at WA.
  18. Ambassadorship - Check your rank stats and see the Top 200 members at WA.
  19. Account Settings - You can update your account settings from here or at the top (#30).
  20. Activity Section - The activity section is where you can see popular posts, unanswered posts and success posts from your friends, referrals or everyone.
  21. Classrooms Section - This is another way you can visit the classrooms. You can see recent questions and training that is most popular.
  22. Top 10 Most Popular Section - You can browse through the Top 10 blogs and training created by members at WA.
  23. Your Notifications Section - In this section, you can see New Followers, Comments, Answers from SiteSupport, Answers to your questions, website reviews, website comments and profile comments.
  24. Affiliate Center - The affiliate center is where you can view everything related to the WA affiliate program. You can see your detailed statistics, information that explains the WA affiliate program, you can see your referrals to WA, get your referral links, affiliate banners, see your revenue, set your payment settings, and a few more options. If you are interested in promoting WA, click the airplane icon.
  25. Network - The blue icon is what you click to see your followers and the people you are following.
  26. Your Notifications - This is another way to see your notifications.
  27. Personal Messages - The envelope icon is where you can view and reply to your personal messages sent to you. You can also send your own personal messages.
  28. Create New Blog, Training or Course - If you have been a Premium member for more than 3 months, you can write a blog for your profile or you can create training to help members just like you. There is an incentive to create training, but your main goal is to help others.
  29. Rank - Your Ranking is determined by how helpful you are, if you are a creator at WA and how active you are within the community. You will learn more about ranking when you start the training.
  30. Your Profile and Settings - When you click your profile picture, you can visit your profile, see your account settings, see how many credits you have earned, take a system tour, see what's in the Premium membership and you can log out of WA from here.
  31. Live Chat Section - The live chat is exactly what it sounds like. A place where members can hang out and receive help.

See, I told you the Wealthy Affiliate dashboard isn't confusing at all, once you know what everything is.

You have already learned a LOT.

Now, you are ready to get started with the training.

How about the comparison with siteground?
I have the two websites I want to grow as my first 2 niches with Siteground until 2020. I did the 3 year GrowBig deal.
Its A$7.45/month but was around A$180 for 3 years
https://www.siteground.com/shared/step1.htm
QUESTIONS PLEASE:
1. Should I leave them at Siteground forever?
They are top ranked/best affordable hosting per this site: https://mangomattermedia.com/australian-web-hosting/ (very fast servers, officially recommended by WordPress)
2. Should I transfer them to WA only at the end of the deal that I prepaid for (3 years) to around August 2020?
3. OR Should I terminate that and transfer them to WA early (if so how do I get money back from Siteground?)
4. I note that I'd get Privacy Protection and Sitespeed if hosted at WA, are there any other benefits over the hosting at Siteground?

Note I already have OptimizePress 2.0 so don't need to page builder/theme aspects at WA as OP has this covered.
The catch seems to be that, that would lock me into WA US$359 for many years, life? as the administrative effort to go back and lose features at #4 would be a disincentive to ever move right?

there are some extras with the hosting here, but the thing is now that you are already with them you can explore how you like cpanel, you can also test the hosting here by setting up a free site, you don't have to make a jump in the dark

I wouldn't leave it 3 years, in case there'd be any traffic loss and as for refunds you need to talk to Siteground about their Ts&Cs;
you won't want to be hopping around hosting wherever you are later on anyway, and few of them will be cheaper than $299 when you consider the free stuff added on here

as for the fee here, you can get it cheaper on Black Friday and it covers more than the hosting, there's training and help

Thank you!
I have setup a 3rd website as a training one, to help me complete the training modules "DynamicHealthandNutrition.Siterubix.com", this is my third niche website but for Course Level 2 onwards I want to only update my first two niche websites (well the 1st website THEN the second one, so I can focus my limited time).
I quite like the cPanel on SIteground since August 2017 when I signed for 3 years hosting.
ACTIONS FOR ME: check the Siteground T&C about cancellation, consider doing a move or not before I get any traffic

5. "as for the fee here, you can get it cheaper on Black Friday and it covers more than the hosting, there's training and help"
How much is it PA for Black Friday? Is that November? We don't have a Black Friday concept in Australian culture (seems to be a north American thing)
Thank you
