I am going to go out on a limb and make the assumption that one of the main reasons you joined Wealthy Affiliate was to make money online. That's why many people join WA.

With that said, Wealthy Affiliate offers a few different ways you can make money.

I am going to explain every way you need to know about.

You Can Make Money Through Wealthy Affiliate:

With Your Own Website

Wealthy Affiliate provides you with everything to start your own website (very easily). Kyle also took the time to create plenty of courses that teach you exactly how to make money with the website(s) you own. You may be curious as to how you can make money with a website. Well, there are a few trusted ways I recommend.

You can:

  • promote products or services through an affiliate program and earn a percentage of the total sale when someone buys a product through your affiliate link.
  • implement an advertising network banner (earn money from clicks on advertisements).
  • create your own product or service.
  • use email marketing to promote products.
  • create a membership website with High-Quality content that people would actually pay for.

Those are the most used methods anyone can use to make money with a website. You'll learn a lot more when you start the Certification Course.

Through The Wealthy Affiliate Affiliate Program.

I briefly mentioned the Affiliate program in the last lesson. I want to explain it a bit more.

The Wealthy Affiliate affiliate program is a way you can earn money by referring members to Wealthy Affiliate. When the member you invited through your referral link upgrades to a Premium membership, you will earn a commission. Since Wealthy Affiliate is $49/month (or $359/year) for Premium, you can earn monthly (or yearly) recurring commissions.

How much you will earn from referring Premium members depends on your membership.

I need to mention that the first month at WA is $19.

Free members who refer a Monthly Premium member to WA will earn $4 the first month and $11.75/month after that. When a free member refers a Yearly Premium member, they earn $87.50/year.

Premium members who refer a Monthly Premium member to WA will earn $8 the first month and $23.50/month after that. When a Premium member refers Yearly Premium member, they earn $175/year.

That is how much you can earn when you invite one Premium member. You can recruit hundreds or thousands, with enough time and hard work. For those interested in promoting WA through their affiliate program, you need to start with the Affiliate Bootcamp.

From Affiliate Credits (Premium Members).

Wealthy Affiliate has a includes a bonus for Premium members that allows you to earn $1 when any of your referrals completes their profile description and uploads a profile picture.

When a member completes those tasks, it let's the community know they are getting started and they are on the right track.

If you haven't done that yet, you can watch the video at:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/completing-your-account-set-up-at-wa-adding-a-description-image

Training Credits (Premium Members).

Premium members who decide to create training that is helpful here at WA can earn credits, which can be cashed out.

At least, that is what I have read. This is my first training that I created. If I earn anything I will update this lesson once I learn exactly how it works.

Well, that's about it. At least, that I personally know of. I have been a member at WA for a while, but I haven't been the most active within the community. I have also heard that you can earn money for being an Ambassador at Wealthy Affiliate, but I am not 100% sure. If you are an ambassador, you can let me know how it works and I will add a section to explain it.

The next lesson will explain everything you need to know about the Wealthy Affiliate dashboard.

It's been awesome here at WA since I joined! Thanks for this training! As for the ambassador rewards and what anyone can gain being an ambassador, you may read the resource below. Thanks!

How about the comparison with siteground?
I have the two websites I want to grow as my first 2 niches with Siteground until 2020. I did the 3 year GrowBig deal.
Its A$7.45/month but was around A$180 for 3 years
https://www.siteground.com/shared/step1.htm
QUESTIONS PLEASE:
1. Should I leave them at Siteground forever?
They are top ranked/best affordable hosting per this site: https://mangomattermedia.com/australian-web-hosting/ (very fast servers, officially recommended by WordPress)
2. Should I transfer them to WA only at the end of the deal that I prepaid for (3 years) to around August 2020?
3. OR Should I terminate that and transfer them to WA early (if so how do I get money back from Siteground?)
4. I note that I'd get Privacy Protection and Sitespeed if hosted at WA, are there any other benefits over the hosting at Siteground?

Note I already have OptimizePress 2.0 so don't need to page builder/theme aspects at WA as OP has this covered.
The catch seems to be that, that would lock me into WA US$359 for many years, life? as the administrative effort to go back and lose features at #4 would be a disincentive to ever move right?

there are some extras with the hosting here, but the thing is now that you are already with them you can explore how you like cpanel, you can also test the hosting here by setting up a free site, you don't have to make a jump in the dark

I wouldn't leave it 3 years, in case there'd be any traffic loss and as for refunds you need to talk to Siteground about their Ts&Cs;
you won't want to be hopping around hosting wherever you are later on anyway, and few of them will be cheaper than $299 when you consider the free stuff added on here

as for the fee here, you can get it cheaper on Black Friday and it covers more than the hosting, there's training and help

Thank you!
I have setup a 3rd website as a training one, to help me complete the training modules "DynamicHealthandNutrition.Siterubix.com", this is my third niche website but for Course Level 2 onwards I want to only update my first two niche websites (well the 1st website THEN the second one, so I can focus my limited time).
I quite like the cPanel on SIteground since August 2017 when I signed for 3 years hosting.
ACTIONS FOR ME: check the Siteground T&C about cancellation, consider doing a move or not before I get any traffic

5. "as for the fee here, you can get it cheaper on Black Friday and it covers more than the hosting, there's training and help"
How much is it PA for Black Friday? Is that November? We don't have a Black Friday concept in Australian culture (seems to be a north American thing)
Thank you
