Terms often used with SEM

As said above, SEM is closely related to PPC, but this is not the only terminology associated with this concept. There are other related terms which we will discuss shortly.

CPC (Cost per Click): this refers to how much you pay every time your ad gets a click.

CPM (Cost per Million Impression): Here you are making the payment just to be seen. It is different for pay per click.

CTR (Click Through Rate ): the number of clicks that left the ads and got to your website

Impressions: this simple tells how many times your ads appeared on a screen, not necessary that the user clicked on it or even observed it.

SEM vs SEO

It is good I start by spelling out the outright difference between these two models of marketing. While SEO has to do with the free organic generation of traffic, SEM has to do with the paid traffic. In search engine optimization, the competition is for relevant content well delivered to suite good user experience.

But one thing both methods have in common is that they base on keyword research. Don’t be surprised, in search engine marketing you must engage relevant keyword. For a successful SEM, you must identify the related keyword to your products, and they must be relevant to user engagement.

An excellent tool you can always count on is Jaaxy. It will help you identify keywords that are relevant to your business and your intended clients. All you need to do is enter a related keyword. It will suggest other alternatives to you.

It is structured in a 6-column format with the following items – AV, traffic, QSR, KQI, SEO, and Domain. The platform has a help centre fully loaded with tutorials on how to use it.

Another superb training, Ayodeji. I didn't know about SEM or at least what it was called. I have used FB ads before and for some things they are good, for others I find they are not so good.
I have bookmarked your training as I will use it and I might use SEM immediately to get a better foot hold on how I'm doing and what I could improve.
I think this is another good advantage of SEM.
Have a great week.
