How to Use Notepad to edit HTML Code

If you're going to be designing web pages, your are going to need an HTML editor. In an upcoming tutorial I'll tell you what I know about HTML editors. To end today's tutorial, I'm going to show you how I use notepad as an html editor. The best part, it came with my laptop.

Example

1. Find Notepad on your computer
2. Open Notepad
3. Start designing your website by writing in HTML code
4. Save file as .htm or .html extension. with your your filename
5. Find the file you just saved on your computer
6. Right mouse click on the file
7. Click open with
   • Choose your browser you use to view the Internet
   • Choose your notepad to view the code
