Checking Your Website Speed


Google PageSpeed Insight:

Google has made it easier so you are not excused. The tool is free and very easy to use. It will analyze your website. All you need to do is type in your website.

Google does not just leave you with a result on the page speed but will go further to explain what is needed to improve your website speed.

Pingdom:

Although not free. It is a very resourceful tool that helps with website testing. It also does not stop at testing but evaluates your website performance and its history.


As such, it keeps you abreast with changes in your website performance. Its premium price starts at 10 dollars with a free 14 days trial period

SitePlus+

As a member of wealthy affiliate, you do not need to pay to check your website speed. You can access it from your website login page. From your dashboard select website, then select site manager.


On your login page, select details and scroll down to SitePlus+ and also see PageSpeed Insights below. Here you can see details for each page

Thank you very much Ayodeji. This is really helpful. Could you Please share with the newbies how to choose the right theme? When I started building my website, I was prompted to choose a theme at a time when I knew nothing about themes and what they do. So I have this problem where my name does not appear on my post and I think it is because of the theme I chose. I tried to fix it but could not.
