This is the "TBA" section! I do not have the answers to these questions yet.

Anyone reading this that has the answers can write it in comments or PM me and I will add it right into this tutorial!!!

I can say, it is important to go through and load in all the messages Kyle wrote and edit them as needed to make it sound like you. Eventually you will add and take away messages to an order that works for you. For now, just set it up like they tell you!

http://www.aweber.com/faq/questions/87/ is a link that should answer many of these questions.

Here are the questions I had---when I set up the Autorespnder messages on Aweber as I get the answers I will come in a load them

  1. Personalize: what to the different codes mean? I
    1. The point is to use these codes so that the person's name shows up in your message. There is a pull down list with a variety of options, {name} some with exclamation points, some with other variations.
    2. All I know {name_fix} means there will be a capital letter
  2. AWeber says in its set up program you should have an email for Aweber that is not from a free domain. Is this true?
    1. a side issue is on the WordPress site Contact me there is an email contact@domain.com What is supposed to go there?
    2. is the email used to sign up for WA the one that is hooked into this Blog?
  3. In the Aweber message we loaded in it says at one point to send questions. Is this a real thing or fake? Will I actually get questions? Since the Q and A are already on the blog.? How will you find the message, what email does it go to?
    1. In anticipation, I went in and added more Q and A to the page, what I thought would be typical questions and wrote the answers as if I was responding to a real question.
  4. In the pre set responder message the Mad Marketing Method codes are different one has a1. php at the end, another does not. What is the difference?
    1. In the same vain, I have been here for almost a year now, and still do not know when a url link needs the / at the end and when it does not. I know I have to go in and either add it or take it out to make links work, but I cannot figure out the logic.
  5. There is a Thomas Edison quote on a failure message. Once it says he says he failed 1000 times another time 10,000 times, which is it?

this one is more general, kind of with this section as it would mean creating more lists and responder messages.

  1. There is a line in a tutorial and it says : "the more opt-in the more power as a marketer"
    1. I thought the Mad marketing was the opt-in Am I supposed to make up more? What are they supposed to be?
    2. On the separate pages we create on the site on specific KW, is that where we are to put other kinds of opt-ins? whatever they should be?

You want to delete the Hello Dolly plug in.

Plug ins are separate from widgets. There are hundreds of them.

Hi! Just attended a webinar on Aweber. In regards to your first question Personalize {name_fix} means that when you send out you e-mail the persons name that was entered into the request form will be used in your answering e-mail to them so you don't have to do this manually for each response. As i understood it anyway. Great post: Worth some gold! Thank you, Peter.

This is great thanks. I still have lots of questions too and I am planning to get a book on Word-press. If I come across some of the mystery answers I will be sure to send them to you. Yes Kyle and Carson have done a great job of providing us with a WP blog ready to go - it's the content and emails that I am so pleased with because copy-writing is a skill that takes time to develop and this gives us a wonderful opportunity to build a business from the beginning while learning the skills. Cheers Devan
