In this lesson we are going to discuss the power of targeting keywords that are "late" in the customer purchasing life cycle to explode conversion ratios and also how to utilize bonuses effectively to expand your WA Affiliate referrals.

Some of the most effective late cycle keywords are product keywords. In lesson 2 we covered review pages and touched on product keywords, but we would like to emphasize the potential that resides within focused product review campaigns in addition to targeting audiences.

So why are product keywords so great?

People who search product related keywords like Beating Adwords, Wealthy Affiliate, Inside the List and Who Loves Money already have knowledge of the product and are likely very close to a purchase. If you think about it, their research is close to coming to completion. They have already searched the "make money" type keywords, they have researched on forums, or they may have even been told about a product by a friend.

Guess what this means? If you put "PRODUCT A" beside Wealthy Affiliate, WA becomes a very easy sell and you can help people make a much more informed purchasing decision. In many cases, you can prevent them from getting scammed, up-sold through sly marketing tactics, taken advantage of, or overcharged.

Wouldn't it be nice to help someone out and make a WA commission in the process?

That is what you are doing when you target product keywords. You are essentially leveraging this traffic to promote WA. People are looking for reviews and information prior to buying and if you can point them in the direction of WA you can generate a ton of referrals. Not to mention you help people find a quality resource in the process.

Best Strategy for Developing Product Keyword Campaign

There are a few different approaches that you can take when using product keywords, but the best campaign structure would look like this:

PRODUCT X KEYWORDS -> PRODUCT X AD -> PRODUCT X REVIEW PAGE -> YOU EARN $$$

Let's break this down.

PRODUCT A KEYWORDS

The first thing you need to do is take a single product and create an ad group form the keywords. The most common keywords that people type in when they are looking for more product information are:

• review
• compare
• scam
• website
• review for
• buy

These keywords should then be combined with the product keywords. An example of an ad group for the product Who Loves Money Review would look like this:

Ad Group Name: Who Loves Money Review

who loves money review
who loves money reviews
who loves money book review
review for who loves money

And you could also create a separate targeting the same product keywords WITHOUT spaces.

Ad Group Name: WhoLovesMoney

As you can see, you want to put the exact keywords within the ad title and description. This will increase your CTR and also increase your Quality Score with Google.

PRODUCT "A" REVIEW PAGE

Alright, you have a nicely set-up ad group and you have a high quality ad. Now it is time to hit your visitor with pure relevance when the click on that ad. This is where most people's WA campaigns fail. The landing page relevance and product review page is critical to success with product keywords.

This page will be highly relevant to "Who Loves Money" in this case, reviewing it against Wealthy Affiliate and other products. Remember, with everything that WA offers and it's price point, it will be very easy to review Wealthy Affiliate against other "make money" products and determine it to be the clear winner. Be personal, offer support and let people know you are a member of WA.
