Now that you are set-up with your Facebook and Twitter accounts, the first thing you are going to want to do is make sure that you are logged into your accounts. This is required in order for the Shoutout buttons to work.

How to Like & Tweet Your Links

The first step is going to the to the WA Shoutout System where you will find the items that you can link recommend to your Facebook friends through the Recommend and Like buttons.

Step 1: Posting to your Facebook Profile

Again, you need to make sure you are logged into your Facebook account. You then want to click the "Recommend" button as shown below.

Note that when you click the Recommend button you will get a pop-up that allows you to add an additional comment of your own to the article. You should add a comment relating to the article (which we explain in further detail in the next section).

As you can see (below), it then posts the item you Recommended to your Facebook wall. Note that the link to the content contains your affiliate link, in this case, the "Why Hard Selling is so uncool these days" link will contain your affiliate link. This means that you will get credit for any sale generated through this link, even if the person reads it and comes back and joins Wealthy Affiliate a year from now as we have LIFETIME affiliate cookies.

Step 2: Posting to Your Twitter Account

Again, before you do anything within the Shoutout page, you will want to make sure you are logged into your Twitter account.

After you do this, you can add a Shoutout post to your Twitter account by clicking the Tweet button as denoted below (the Post ==> Twitter).

Upon clicking "Tweet", you will be automatically connected to your Twitter account with the text related to the post. Here is an example:

You will notice that the link looks a little strange. This is OK, Twitter automatically shortens links to prevent you from going over the character limit of 140 characters. This is simply a redirect to your affiliate link, so don't worry you will get credit for ANY sales generated through this link.

Click the Tweet button in the bottom right hand corner. It then posts your Tweet to your Twitter Feed (as shown below).
