Introduction

I've been having a play with Canva and it's awesome!

This IS a quick overview of how I am using Canva to create a consistent theme for a series of case studies I'm doing on my website. Hopefully this will give you some ideas for your website or blog.

This IS NOT a step by step tutorial on all the ins and outs of using Canva, as there are plenty of tutorials here on WA about how to use this tool, so I don't want to duplicate that content. If you are looking for a step by step guide, take a look at How To Use Canva - Step By Step Text Format by TopAchiever as this covers quite a lot.

Canva enables you to create stylish images and images with text for your website.

Did you know?

Canva is also great for creating your own Wealthy Affiliate Banners

I've also developed a couple of tutorials with some bonus Wealthy Affiliate banner designs which are available for you to download and use here:

I use Canva for making my own unique banners for my website, but I have not gotten to trying any of the other available features such as creating a theme or brand for my websites yet

Hi Jeff,
I've just had a go at creating a comparison chart using CANVA,it's actually pretty cool... The screenshot attached is my first attempt, so yet another use for this versatile tool.

How do you add the colors to your chart, I have only been making simple text FB cards for my FB pages

Jeff
Reply
kdforsman Premium
I did a search for comparison chart, then picked one that closely matched what I wanted, then edited the colors to suit my theme... Click on the element you want to change - then click on the color icon to edit and change the colors. Hope this helps.

Yes, it does help I did not realize that was possible to do. I will need to spend more time experimenting.

I like the "Path Less Traveled". It seems to speak to me more because I am more of an outdoors person. I love to work in my yard and do gardening, trimming trees, mowing the yard-anything outside.
Reply
kdforsman Premium
Hi Cristy, Yes that's a great photo, Ryan supplied the image himself and I just used Canva to put it into a similar look and feel to the other case study headers. If you love the outdoors, then you should definitely check out his website, it's amazing. Cheers, Karen

When you do put them up on your site, don't forget to optimize them for SEO as it will be another form of traffic. I've just done a post and took the time to update titles, description etc for seo and they are already ranking under images when I do a google search.

They look great! What an awesome idea. I love the top one, especially. How did you get the bubble background behind her. Is that the photo she gave you or did you use photoshop for that effect?

Yes, absolutely. I have imported a number of images into canva - using the upload option or simply drag and drop. I can't believe how easy it is to use. Enjoy. Cheers, Karen
