Make the Right Connections & Reach the Target Audience
Several users on LinkedIn tend to build connections with every ideal person they are able to come across with the thought that they could increase search visibility and with the hope that they could intrigue several viewers enough to hire or network with them. But this is not an ideal way of networking with others in the real sense. Networking with others this way can potentially decrease the value of your profile.
You’ll eventually watch your profile linked to those that are not in your industry, therefore making it less visible for your target audience.
To connect with the right people within the network, try figuring out what relevant terms and keyword phrases your specific audiences are describing themselves with on LinkedIn.
Go on researching and try finding people who really merit your specific consumer persona. Also, try identifying the keyword phrases they’ve used in their respective profile details and connect appropriately with them.
I, like others have mentioned, have been on LinkedIn for a previous business but haven’t used it at all as a tool for my site.
This is really helpful.

To be fair my LI profile is tailored to my previous career, so I need to update it.
Note: I have clicked many of the links in the post - so those are a good idea. I think I will read through many of them as they are very pertinent. Good job, my friend.
Thank you,
Alex
