6. Building Thoughtful Engagement with Your Audience

You’ve heard from bloggers that blog comments are now pointless for SEO because search engines don’t follow those comments again like ever, right? This isn’t true about blog comments.

Without any controversy, it’s true comments left on blogs are no longer followed by search engines and the sole reason for that was due to the fact that many bloggers abused it, trying to drop too many poops called comments on several blogs for the sake of getting SEO juice to their own blogs, which turned many blogs into a dung-hill.

Unknown to countless bloggers out there, Google still rewards handsomely for an ideal engagement building. And that’s why I immediately disapprove comments like; “Good post!”, “Nice work!”, and “Interesting read!”.

Not that alone, I don't approve comments that aren’t relevant to the main content no matter how detailed they might be, and I make sure I leave quality, attention-grabbing and thoughtful comments on blogs which helps in generating tons of referral traffic naturally. While trying to rank with your blog commenting endeavors, do it the right way.
