This video is intended for affiliates. It will walk you through the process in which a new Starter member goes through when signing up to Wealthy Affiliate.

In this video I cover:

(1) The Initial sign-up from WealthyAffiliate.com
(2) The create account process
(3) The flow into Wealthy Affiliate through the welcome video
(4) What people see when they arrive at WA
(5) The initial $19 "first month", time-sensitive offer people get

If you have any questions about this process, please do let me know.

Here’s the link to all your affiliate links. I think it’s the 3rd one (Create Account)

Thank you, I did already look at that, but it must look different on another pc, because I am already a member? Is that right?
Reply
Juneyo Premium
Yes, that’s correct. You have to log out to see how it looks like (picture below)

I have received a message "One of your referred members has just completed their account set-up process". How do I know which member has completed this process so that I may follow up with him for being premium?

If (s)he goes premium you will be informed by 'invitation accepted', do not worry.

if you have same IP address or internet connection the system will detect it and she won't be approved.

Hi kyle, is there an age limit to join WA?
Reply
MarianMartin Premium
I suppose you have to be 18 to join the premium membership. But I am not sure, so don´t take my word for it.
.
I don´t think there´s maximum age limit to become a member:)

Hi marian, just found out there is no age limit to join WA, but some affiliate progms require you tobe18.
Reply
Kyle Premium
No, there isn't an age limit. It is never too early to get an education on how the world of Internet business works, but the parents approval should be there if they are under 18.

hi :) i have friends who are trying to sign-up but the sign up page keeps saying that they already have an account??? we have tried several things to get them started but nothing seems to be working.... any advice?

I'd pm Kyle or Carson so you get a quicker reply.

This is because they are trying to sign-up through the same computer that you have logged in from. We do not allow this to prevent system gaming. You will need to tell them to join from a different connection from you and it should work just fine ;)

This was very useful! It should probably be in the affiliate classroom or bootcamp area if it's not already. Now I can see what you have in place that will encourage people to upgrade. Cool feature!

Thanks Eddy. This is within the Affiliate Classroom :)

Kyle, I have had two "Invited" members (I think they linked from my Google Ads campaign), they have registered but have not gone forward. Do you ever send new "Invites" a follow up comment or message or do you just let it go?
Reply
Kyle Premium
You could if you wanted, but we have marketing going on on our end. Not everyone is an action take, some people will just do nothing (in life in general). However, we will be contacting these people from our end, so I would not worry too much.

It is better to focus on recruiting new people and working with people that actually "do something" than it is to invest too much time into folks that don't end up doing anything.

Great Kyle, thanks for doing this. We can talk about the special seven day offer in our product review as a further tempter (if one is needed) - right?

Cool, thanks Kyle, I wondered what the new members were introduced to now. I think it was a little different when I started, I have forgotten since it's been over 5 months ago!
Reply
Kyle Premium
Yeah, it definitely has evolved. We are constantly improving the flow here and improving things to maximize conversions for affiliates which is very closely tied to the quality of experience for newcomers.

Thanks Kyle. That really helped insofar as seeing what the new folks see these days. It's a far, far cry from what we had back in the day!

I should be doing better than I am with sign-ups because, the way you all have it, it more than sells itself!

It will help you tie in your campaigns and promotions into the process. IE, you could offer a bonus if someone joins within the first 7 days...you could offer your support inside WA and the ability to PM you if they join within 7 days, etc.

The process is definitely much more streamlined.
