Opinion systems are aimed at those online businesses that want to generate trust, attract potential customers and increase sales. And what ecommerce does not want that today?
Although it is still more used by online stores, they are beginning to be used more and more in businesses that offer services, such as dentists, where trust is a key aspect.
How do online reviews improve a business? They do it by generating credibility, improving positioning and increasing conversions.
Trust
The most important advantage is the trust that a user generates in being able to read other shopping experiences. It is something like word of mouth on the Internet. These evaluations inform potential buyers how the shipment has been, if the products have arrived safely, whether or not they recommend the service, or any other information they consider important.

You’re absolutely right. Transparency is the heart of every online business especially now that almost everything purchase wise is going online and customers are going to need our trust. I think is a must have system as long as both positive and negative reviews are allowed to be there otherwise customer can see through it because nothing is perfect.
