We know how overwhelmed we can become when we enter our office and nothing is in order.
In our online work, from time to time, we come to the end of projects or we need to have replicas of documents. We also find that our computer started out with a few family photos and in no time it became a large collection.
We should therefore relieve our (working) hard drive of all these making use of other storage such as google drive, secure them in the cloud, or copy to an external hard drive.
In addition to this as a security measure, the files, images and information will be available across devices which can be convenient for someone on the go.
Most of us know these principles, but how do we successfully apply them ?
The answer is that we need to choose a 'de-clutter day' each week. Just as we are engaged in taking time out of our busy schedules to neaten our offices or bedrooms, thowing out old stuff and putting everything in order, we need to do the same with our computers.
This will provide greater efficiency in our whole operation, as we become less confused, more productive especially in retrieval and in the end give longer life to our computers.
To your success.

Thank you for your words to remind me of what I know already. Your suggestions and guidelines are surely practical and not hard. Thanks for making them and allowing me to be reminded again of the value of the network in Wealthy Affiliate.
Have you been seeing the responses I have been adding to the "join the discussion" lately? The things catching my eye have to do with weeding out and organizing/.
Thanks again for your clearly written, easy to understand suggestions.
