It is best to set up different email addresses for different major areas of business, and before you place an order which requires your email, remember each order that your place opens a door to a new stream of emails.

When you are working online, you continue to be amazed at the amount of mail that comes in within a short time. The question becomes 'How can I manage these and not feel overwhelmed?"

This can be solved by taking decisive action with each item.

• If it requires a reply, reply right away
• If it is a record (as an email) you need to keep, move it into an email folder
• If you are not interested in that letter, delete
• If you find yourself deleting mail from the same source without opening, unsubscribe
• If it contains an attached document that you need, download the document and delete the email
• Spam, Get rid of it
• If you need to refer to it again, flag it.

Your email list should now be at a minimum, and if not you may need to schedule time to do similar action to older correspondence.
