We are going to use a handy plugin called Better Search Replace.

Needless to say, there are many plugins that will allow you to perform Search & Replace actions on your Wordpress website ... However, this plugin consolidates the best features from all these plugins, incorporating the following very important features in one simple, lightweight plugin:

  • serialization support for all tables
  • the ability to select specific tables
  • the ability to run a “dry run” to see how many fields will be updated
  • no server requirements!

It's a very small plugin (125 KB), but let's see the usual speed tests ...

Hi Zed and thanks for another excellent and useful training. We have a question. Our WordPress editor does not show that menu bar containing "File", "Edit", "View", etc. (see the copy below). How do we make that appear?

You need to install the TinyMCE Advanced plugin to enhance the standard Classic Editor ...
