For the following scenarios go to the GA Home page. This is shown at the beginning of this tutorial as Page 1A that due to size only shows the top three user activities. There are eleven boxes in total. Please note that the GA layout has recently had more changes so you might have to do a bit of guessing! Several boxes don’t appear until other fields are filled.

Boxes 1 to 3

Box 1 is audience overview. There you can compare time periods, see active users and insights eg audience spikes. You can change time range in top right hand corner.

Box 2 Active users at present.

Box 3 Insights (doesn’t appear until property is entered)

Rosana, I just popped over to your profile and will be hopping back as some of your info looks astounding. I am just finishing a straw bale house and it some of your articles look pretty earthy too.

Thanks for your comment and have fun with Google Analytics.

My husband is an absolute fiend on the subject of natural building, mostly earthbags. We lived in an earthbag house he built in Colorado.

Terry, my folks lived in Gwithian Towans while dad went to Camborne school of mines. I while ago I had to do some research on this and to my surprise found a memory from a fellow who had also lived there. Two of his friends were mum and dad! Wow that was a feeling of amazement as now both have died.

Thanks for your comment.

And I did try to go back and visit but unfortunately chose a holiday weekend and the road to Cornwall was packed. So I went to Wales instead. Dad was born there.

I am an import to the south west, originally from the West Midlands. I live in Plymouth - not quite Cornwall but spend a lot of time in Perranporth.
The A30 and A38 are always packed for 9 months of the year but we battle through.
Keep the tutorials and blogs coming, they are greatly appreciated.

13 PAGES. You are way out in front of all the others with the size of your lessons.
Well done.
Tom.

Hopefully this lesson is helpful. I can't believe how every time Google updates things get harder to follow!
