What is the tailwind tribe?

Tailwind offers one unique feature called the tailwind tribe. A tribe is a collection of people of like mind. Or should I say people in the same niche market? It is synonymous to a helpful community, you submit your pin and also pin others peoples pin on your board. This way you are extending the reach of your pin and gaining more repin.

Tailwind has more than 4,000 tribes. Out of this you can join 5 tribes, and submit a maximum of 30 pins in a month. This grants you access to a constant supply of content for your niche. Also, you can pin your content for other tribe members to pin on their boards.

How to Join Tailwind tribes

Before joining a tribe, you must first find the tribe on tailwind. You can find a tribe by using related keywords or categories. To the right-hand side, you will find the tribe icon. Click on it and a list of menu options will appear on the top section. Select find tribe


Now you can enter a keyword from your niche and find a tribe of your choice. To help you select a tribe, you will be presented with the number of members and a chat showing the activity level in the tribe. Also, you will be allowed to preview the tribe before you send a join request.

Thanks for this training, Ayodeji. I've been aware of Tailwind but have never taken action with it.

Clearly, I would need to be more proactive with publishing content than I have been this year. This is something to aim for.
