It's short, pithy and drives home the point. Please don't copy it verbatim but feel free to modify it and use as you see fit.

I have several sites in the gold and silver niche. Across the globe, some people buy gold because they are worried about the economy and their savings. Here's a pitch that I saw on a competitor's site that can be used to entice people to look into gold as an investment: "Gold is the safest long term investment in the world. Gold has survived 5,000 years of man-made market manipulations, and fiat paper currencies that have failed time and time again." Again, this is a short but compelling set of sentences designed to spark interest in gold.
