Refresh your website and also the posts you want to check first. It is important that you refresh the posts otherwise you won't see so many changes.
Unfortunately, I cannot impress you with my results cause I did refresh the site speed yesterday already. Today I made "only" some improvements here and there. But I gained up to 20-30 speed points on some posts.
But I can tell you that I was even on the desktop in red by some posts and of course in 20's and 30's on mobile.
So, your last job and
Fifth step: go the site speed and check our your results! Enjoy!
BTW: On mobile, I'm already happy with yellow or high-red ;-)

I also have been fiddling with my plugins because of speed issues.
