How Else to Build Your Brand
Don't just step, but leap out of your comfort zone ! You grow by doing things you thought beyond your limits ! Many already realize this by what they have learned on WA !
Last week a friend called and asked me to join her "5 Day Facebook "Live" Challenge ! Did I jump at the chance ? Well, sort of, I've known this was something I wanted to start doing so I did say yes. I have a strong inner compass that insists I do what I commit to so it was a great thing to motivate me. A dozen times I'd said I'll do that tomorrow, or this weekend and then found a reason to procrastinate and put it off. So now I'm committed.
Well I did my "Lives" ! Did every one thrill me, no but now I'm comfortable going "Live". Why would you want to do this ?
You want your audience to see you as a leader ! Also, Facebook seems to really like the "Live" format ! They promote your "Live" for you, giving you a far larger reach than they might give your basic Post. Most of them have never done a "Live" and now I learn that those that have know it takes a stretch and respect you for it !

On Facebook you can also start a "Business Page" if you want to put something under your blog name. You can actually start as many of those or "Group Pages" as you like. For sure your personal profile page should be in your name though !

Liked your training post. The only social media I have ever used is Facebook. I tried Twitter but got lost. I know it is important these days to be able to market yourself in social media. Do you think that you should have a separate Facebook account or page just for your business?

A Business Page might be a good idea for you. For one thing Facebook frowns on promotion from your personal page, where you can get away with more on your business page.
I actually have 2 Business Pages and run 1 group page as well. My primary Business Page is also in my on name and devoted more to free value than promotion. The 2nd is for a business I have and I barely even have my name on it. Each serves it's own purpose. Please reach out anytime I can be of help Dianne !

I too have experienced that Facebook, "BAM - In the face" technique. I'm with you on that... I HATE IT! It's such a turn off, lol. If they only knew!!!

Like I said, if I'm in the mood and have the time I'll try to teach those folks if they are willing to learn, lol, some too clueless to waste a lot of time on and some just didn't know better and can be helped.
