Build the Brand of YOU First !
The first thing you should do is think about building YOU as your brand ! Not a product or program as those can change ! Sorry Kyle and Carson but not even Wealthy Affiliate ! You can certainly take them to Wealthy Affiliate: After they have had a chance to get to know you. As Kyle trains people buy from people they know, like and trust !
Your profile might list you as a member of Wealthy Affiliate and you often have a chance to list your website in your profile. People will often be curious about what you do and it can't hurt to leave a bread trail sometimes. BUT, no pitching anything, this will turn people off and drive them away more often than doing what you intended.
Take your time and get to know people, find out what they do. Ask questions. LIsten more than you talk. Do you have an online or home business ? What kind of business ? Is it all you dreamed it would be ? How do you automate it ? Or are you still trading time for dollars ? If you can find their points of pain or what they are not happy with and help them to solve it do you think you'll have a friend and follower for life ?

On Facebook you can also start a "Business Page" if you want to put something under your blog name. You can actually start as many of those or "Group Pages" as you like. For sure your personal profile page should be in your name though !

Liked your training post. The only social media I have ever used is Facebook. I tried Twitter but got lost. I know it is important these days to be able to market yourself in social media. Do you think that you should have a separate Facebook account or page just for your business?

A Business Page might be a good idea for you. For one thing Facebook frowns on promotion from your personal page, where you can get away with more on your business page.
I actually have 2 Business Pages and run 1 group page as well. My primary Business Page is also in my on name and devoted more to free value than promotion. The 2nd is for a business I have and I barely even have my name on it. Each serves it's own purpose. Please reach out anytime I can be of help Dianne !

I too have experienced that Facebook, "BAM - In the face" technique. I'm with you on that... I HATE IT! It's such a turn off, lol. If they only knew!!!

Like I said, if I'm in the mood and have the time I'll try to teach those folks if they are willing to learn, lol, some too clueless to waste a lot of time on and some just didn't know better and can be helped.
