This is the last part about the settings area inside wordpress. Then we'll throw some plugins into the mix...

To set your permalinks up to be search engine friendly just go to the

Custom Structure

and add this

/%postname%/

That's it...

Saves your site showing the default settings for your page. Instead of p=1234 you get your page and post titles added to the end of your URL. Better for seo purposes.

Great article. Thank you. I'm new so I'm confused about something. Where does www.streetarticles.com come into this? I've been submitting them there. Should I stop that and just go through wordpress only.
