First things first
Even a new site with no content needs to have your back covered. Use your privacy policy plugin and get a privacy page up there first.
Then go tohttp://disclosurepolicy.org/generator/generate_policy
This is a 6 part generator that is free and all they ask is that you link back to them or something like that. I don't because they don't deliver. When you click finish and generate I've waited ages and it doesn't give me anything. So just copy what they would be saying by the options you check off.
You'll get something like this

To get your own policy, go to http://www.disclosurepolicy.org?
but it never works so I don't credit them with a backlink. Besides, all these pages are going to be the same thing that's being said on most websites. So duplicacy isn't going to be an issue. You just want to make sure you're sites compliant with the law. The FCC wants sites disclosing there financial interests and this is what this does. You can cop/paste that one above. They'll give you the same thing but take much longer to get it done.
The point is to sort of say yes, I'm an affiliate, I may do this for fun but really...I want paid... LOL!
Just in a politer way of saying it.
