I love self hosted Wordpress and use it all the time, the downside is you hvae to keep buying domain names before you even know weather or not that market will even make any money, so that is why I use Blogger to test the market it is fast and easy to set up.

After you do it a few times you find you can get one up in an hour or so and it cost nothing, you can have as many blogger blogs as you want from one control panel and you can use 100 different pen names.

Now once I have my main landing page blog set up I will submit 20 to 30 articles to the directories and have all links back to that blog then I move on to the next market, I will check Analytic to see how traffic is doing and check where the traffic is coming from and what keywords are sending the traffic, If it's making sales or getting good traffic I will then invest in a domain name and setup a wordpress landing page for it (you can do a lot more SEO with Wordpres).

I will also set-up a network of content blogger blogs each new blog will target a different set of keyword phrases for that market making sure that the title of the blog is based on one phrase and the URL on the other, I will add 25 post all based on the 2 keyword phrases and set them to post 1 or 2 a week, all links will point at my main landing page or if I have set up a Wordpress site as well I will have a link to that as well.

I set up as many blogger blogs as I have what I think are money making keyword sets, when I set up my second content blog I go back to the first content blog and add a link to blog 2, then when I add blog 3 I add a link from blog 2 to blog 3 this will create over time a network of related blogs all pointing to my 1 or 2 landing pages.

Never Ever Delete A Blog if its a dud just add Adsense to it even if it only makes a few dollars its better than nothing and it's not costing you anything! You will find you have more duds then winners but over time you could have 500 or 600 of these each making a few dollars, before you know it you could be making a few grand a month from your duds.

Now I have one Google tool that I like to look at to see how Google really views a keyword or phrase that I want to use, it lets me view that keyword the way Google does, I also can see the main site that google really thinks is number 1 in its eyes and find out what sites are likned to it. Check it out! Its calledTouchGraph and just put in your keyword or a URL and you will get a 3D view of the keywords and sites.

Remember you are building a business and it takes time and effort to get it where you want it to be.
