This The first thing you need to do is open a free Google account if you don't already have one you can do that at https://www.blogger.com/start once you have your account click on create a new blog and you will be at the above page .

This is where you will name your site I always set these up using 2 different keyword phrases the main phrase as the site title and the related one as the url. If the url is not availabe it will tell you so, I will added a number of dashes to it if I have to, or pick another related phrase. next click on countine and you will be at this page.

You can pick A template here or just continue to the next page, later on you will have more templates to pick from, when you click on countine you will be at this page.

Click on the start blogging this will take you to this page.

At this point you don't want to created any content yet , click on the view blog tab.

Great you now have your basic ugly blog set-up and we are now ready to clean it up
