We are always going to be paid what we are worth. Have you thought lately to how much value you pass on to others around you? Are you taking and not giving?
Life is a market place, whether we are at work or on vacation. Why do you think one person works for minimum wage and the other works for $500 dollars per hour.
Just because you have been on the job doing the same things for years and expecting higher pay then new employees, is laughable. You learned how to do your job the first year and then repeated that same performance over and over, year after year.
You give the same value each and everyday. And the only way to become more valuable and actually make more money is to increase learning and skill-set.
Most want more money yet they do not deliver any more value for that company then they did year one. How would it work that you should receive more cash for the same value? You don't.
Do you bring your needs to the work place, or do you work on giving value.
No one can really take care of you unless you're wiling to do it yourself - and this includes people who have addictions, (smoking, sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping and etc.). It takes a commitment to improve your own being - mind, body and spirit in order for one to truly become the person that he/she can potentially be and achieve in the course of a lifetime. This would include personal happiness, great health, monetary wealth, career achievements, (which includes running a successful online business), a spiritual relationship with their God and so on.
This is one of those articles, Rick that should be read by ALL WA members if anything just for motivation. To be blunt I don't make that statement all that often either!
