Believe this or not, money does change lifestyles. Everything is better if you can afford to earn a 6 figure income., sure. And, most will think of this as what is needed... To make more money, not changing their preconditioned thoughts. We look outside ourselves every day in search of something that will make more money, when the real problem lies inside us.

People who manage to make ten times more money are still facing the same struggle to pay for their exuberant lifestyles. "Honey, we need to cut back on the lights, our electric bill is $1,400 dollars this month!" Even here we see a limitation. Same as an ordinary persons electric bill and them complaining about a $89 dollar one. See a problem here?

In order to get away from a dead end lifestyle we must first understand where we are and why we are seemingly stuck. Once you develop a new mindset on how things really are and what changes are needed, you are well on your way to breaking free from this ball and chain.

To escape this adverse conditioning and a life of servitude, we first must understand that our value and our skills require improvement, daily. However, the reality is we do nothing, yet expect good things to suddenly start happening. We look for an event, like winning the lottery to solve our problems. Not a new process or goal.

Without changing our thoughts, decisions, or our goals, our path is proven to never change. That path will remain the same until the end of our days.

Very relevent points covered here Rick. But you put a dividing line between rich and poor. There is no in between or is this a comparison from positive to negative thinking! Either way I still say you will blog of the day!

More so about positive and negative thinking types and the difference thereof. There is a division between working smart and or remaining in a position of servitude toward others. And limiting ourselves by average type work that gives average type values, which encapsulates us into a average life style. Many just survive their lives with little hopes of improvement. There minds delivering the average visions.

Yes the title should probably read Rich, Poor and Average. We all have 24 hours. It is what we do with that time that makes us all different.

By looking inward we see there are plenty more options and choices we are able to take, in a 24 hour day,and if we did work from within first, to change ourselves... A great prosperity can be achieved.

Rich or Poor, or average, we make the one hundred choices daily that keep us bound on one of these roads. We can change these daily choices and have our road become one of greatness. But first we have to change perspective and understand what and who we are.

Poor people who stay poor are defeated in thought. conditioned in a negative way, they have given up the fight. Only to remain on the same path.

Middle class types are set in their ways also and are conditioned to only put out so much effort, thinking why struggle. Life is too short, I want to enjoy my weekends! They will never be the boss and always be average.

Wealthy people are up at 5 in the morning, working out, challenging themselves with growth and developing new skills. Have put in a full day by noon continually work on balance and goals and envision prosperity all day long.

Each category has the same opportunities and the same 24 hour period of time. Wealthy people use this time wisely. Average people spend lots of their time doing things which does not move them forward, but they ink out some enjoyment for fear of working too hard.

You choose. Rich, or Poor. Yes there is in betweens. But to define ourselves we all can be put into some category of reference. But that isn't what I'm trying to say here.

I'm merely wanting to open the eyes of those of us who wonder why we cannot get ahead, cannot become wealthy and have a prosperous life.

We are all where we are because of our thoughts and actions before today. People struggle to change their situation by looking outside themselves when the very problems we face are within.

Thank you for posting such an outstanding and motivating article, Rick! I also believe that with all of the negativity that has become prevalent throughout the world, (ISIS/terrorist attacks) you can add that as well to how the minds of many people have become so effected in how they feel about themselves. One selfishly perhaps does have to look within his/her own being.

No one can really take care of you unless you're wiling to do it yourself - and this includes people who have addictions, (smoking, sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping and etc.). It takes a commitment to improve your own being - mind, body and spirit in order for one to truly become the person that he/she can potentially be and achieve in the course of a lifetime. This would include personal happiness, great health, monetary wealth, career achievements, (which includes running a successful online business), a spiritual relationship with their God and so on.

This is one of those articles, Rick that should be read by ALL WA members if anything just for motivation. To be blunt I don't make that statement all that often either!

I appreciate the comment, Jeff. I see you get the looking within part and reasoning to change inwardly. Just understanding this is a step in the right direction for most who have failed to reach their worthy potential.

Rick, great post! Totally agree. Often times what we are trying to change masks the real issue at hand, our thoughts. When we confront our thoughts and limiting beliefs then and only then are we on the path to progress. All the best.

Thanks Rick, I read a long while ago what matters is perception. If others perceive you as being valuable, guess what? You are!
But I agree, the first thing that has to happen is for you to make yourself more valuable through practices like your suggestions above.

Thanks. Yes. I've always been a follower because I never believe I could lead.

Now I understand that to become successful I will have to lead in giving more value, help and information to others. Learning to give before receiving is a new concept for many here online.

In fact my thoughts of needing more cash have expanded into knowing my first and overall need is to give the right value, and my needs of cash will be fulfilled.

For almost two years I looked outward for change. An event to come along, perhaps. But now I know there is an inward process that needs to be born, nurtured and grown.

A far different mindset that wealthy and successful people already implement.

So glad it made sense. I'm thinking I'm improving, therefor I am! :) Maybe. The value part of it I now understand.

It is why I'm creating a new type training vessel which can repeat on many subjects, thus leveraging the masses by creating much needed value others are not creating in masses.

I'm done with Affiliate Marketing, sort of. Shoot, I'm conditioned to write articles! But slowly moving away from promoting WA. The very training I've received from books and others inspirational lifestyle changes has finally turned the light on.

I hope I can trigger change in others as I move toward learning to give more value to others.
