You have now successfully removed the Meta box from your site.

You may go back to view site and check to see it has been removed. (see below)




Note:
On some themes all you need to do when you get into the widgets screen is open the Meta box by clicking on edit and delete it and it will be gone from your site.

You may also drag this box into the inactive widgets box as this will remove it too.

Removing this box will make your site look more professional. I personally remove them from my sites because they serve no purpose to anyone visiting the site.

For one of my sites, I haven't done them all, I just clicked on widget and then delete on the right col meta file and that did it. John

It definetely gives a more professional look to the website, and I really like them to be as clean as posible, since the meta box doesn't have utility for customers it's highly recommended to remove it.
