You don't need to run updates the very minute they become available. Don't let a number in a bright red circle distract you from the main work you are doing that day. Instead, I update everything once a week as part of my routine website maintenance plan.

This is a much more efficient way of doing it. Yes, I know it's tempting to click update each time a new one is available, but it's not good to let things like that dictate your work flow by distracting you from what you were otherwise doing.

Your website's not going to suddenly explode just because it spends a few days on version 4.02 of a plugin instead of version 4.03. Most updates are minor bug fixes. The chances are, your website was probably running along just fine before they fixed those minor bugs.

I just recently loaded chrome up on an old computer and I had no idea what open incognito was. hahaha So now I won't be afraid to open with it.
Saving this as a bookmark so I can come back to it easily.
