5. Improve Site Speed.

The best ways to speed up page loading are: Using a CDN, optimizing your images, investing in quality web hosts, monitoring plugin usage, and using caching plugins.

The speed and performance of your website plays a big role in whether visitors decide to stay or go elsewhere. If your site takes too long to load pages, visitors will be annoyed and abandon your site.

Site visitors expect a website to load in 2-3 seconds. Site abandonment is possible if the site loads slower than 3 seconds.

6. Make Everything A/B Testable.

Google Optimize allows you to easily run A/B test on your website using the free Google tool – Google Analytics. Its A/B Testing Quick Guide provides detailed instructions on how to use the tool, as well as how to hook it up with your WordPress website.

If you are looking for inspiration, these A/B Testing ideas will inspire you. They will help increase conversions and reduce bounce rates.

A Routine A/B test will identify any website tweaks that could help decrease your bounce rate. It is possible that you have high bounce rates simply because of a minor thing like the color or layout of your call to actions button or the way your landing pages guide visitors through your sales funnel.

HubSpot, for example, found that 21% of people clicked on the red call-to-action button over the green. Although this is just one example of increased conversions due to button colors, the truth is that people have a tendency to leave your site when they aren’t compelled. There are many reasons people might not feel compelled.

This is it! These six solid strategies will increase conversions and decrease bounce rates.

Thank you Jim, sometimes my bounce rate is low and at other times it's quite high. I will start working through your suggestions but I'm not sure about Monster Insights. I'm with Google Analytics and console. I've just got my website working again after the last plugin I deleted, my site was unstable.
