Why Do This?

I found the Readability advice on Yoast to be extremely helpful.

After all, when we go to the trouble of writing a post with good content, we want the reading experience to be as good as it can possibly be for our website visitors. If it is an effort to read, then what is the point? In all probability visitors would not persevere with a post that is not reader friendly!

Therefore, no matter how good our content is, we will lose our visitors if it is not easy to read. And good Readability obviously helps with Google rankings.

Please do let me know if you have ever used the Readability function, and if you have not, I hope this training will encourage you to try it out.

Very many thanks for reading this, and if you like it, then please do let me know by clicking on the green Like button below, and by leaving a comment if you wish.

I have been using Yoast for some time. It just gives reminders for many things we may otherwise skip over. I like it.

I've have a red light on #2 on the list, on one or more of my post's. However, it's false. I have no consecutive sentences starting with the same word. I checked, double checked, and triple checked. No such issue. I take it with a grain of salt.

I noticed that one of my bullied lists started with the same word, and on reflection I thought it probably looked better if I varied it :)
